At the end of the article you will find instructions on how to invite team members to your account, transfer the manager role to another team member, or remove a team member from your ReviewForest account.

Examples & Use-cases

There are many reasons why you might want to share the access to your ReviewForest account with your team members or agencies that support your business in its work.

You may want to give a marketing agency access to your ReviewForest account so they can use your social media templates or ReviewForest brand package and planting project content to tell people about your green initiative.

You may also want to share access with your accounting team so they can access your invoices and invoice breakdowns.

Or you may want to use our Public API and put the access in the hands of your developers.

To take full advantage of the team access function, it's important to know the terms and access rights!

Manager and member access

The term "Manager" refers to the person who originally registered with ReviewForest. Our system has assigned all available rights to this person, who is identified by his or her login email address.

The term "Members" refers to anyone who has been invited (by the "Manager") to access your company's ReviewForest account.

It is important to note that Managers and Members have slightly different access rights.

Access Rights

The following table provides an overview of all possible functions of your ReviewForest account.
An "x" indicates that these functions are only available to the person with the manager role.

This may be the case if a team member leaves your company or you need another seat to invite another member to your ReviewForest account.
Here is how you do it:

go to "Team members"
see the email address of the member you want to exclude from accessing your ReviewForest account
click on the "Remove" icon
please confirm your choice to remove the team member

We will confirm the successful removal. From this time onward, your former team member wont be able to login to your ReviewForest account.

We assigned the manager role to the person who initially signed up with ReviewForest. This person might not be a manger in your company.

If you want to transfer the manger role within your ReviewForest account to another person, be that a manger in your company or another team member, you can do so with this function.
It also comes in handy if you are the manager of the ReviewForest account and you yourself are leaving the company and want to transfer all relevant rights to another team member.

Note: you can only transfer the manager right to an already invited team member of your ReviewForest account.

How to:
go to "Team members"
find the team members email address you want to transfer your manager right to
click on the "Make manager" icon and confirm your choice

You and the new manager to be get an email confirmation.

From now on you will have the status of a team member within the ReviewForest account and the new manager can access the rights to adding members, excluding members and transferring the manger role.
